Trent graduated with his Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 2013. Prior to that, Trent completed his Bachelor of Science (Physiology) in 2009 and his Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2011. He has been a continuing member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Orthopedic Division since 2013.
Trent is an experienced manual therapist whose post-graduate training includes: Levels 1, 2, and 3 both Upper and Lower quadrant in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Level System, Vestibular rehabilitation for Physical Therapists, and Neuromobilization of the Nervous System.
His areas of interest include orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) rehabilitation, and chronic pain science research. His independent research focuses on pain science as well as conditions affecting the neck and face such as headache, migraine, tinnitus, and various facial pain conditions.
Trent has been an active athlete for over 20 years in a mix of soccer, volleyball, badminton, squash, and cheerleading. He continues to develop exercise programming and educational material to help athletes improve their performance with a focus on injury prevention. In his spare time, Trent enjoys spending time with his family, solving puzzles, and exploring new places with his wife.
