Michelle graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2006 with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy after completing her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003. She has further completed her acupuncture and dry needling certification, as well as her pelvic floor and pelvic health course work.
Michelle's experiences has been predominantly in a private practice musculoskeletal/orthopaedic setting. Her professional interests also include women's health for the prenatal and postpartum mothers young and seasoned, Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation for incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse concerns, sport injury rehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation. Michelle's post-graduate courses have developed her treatment philosophy to include strong manual therapy skills to correct joint and movement dysfunction, exercise prescription to improve muscle imbalances, and acupuncture and dry needling to help with overall muscle and joint issues. She believes that treatment does not end with an appointment, rather becomes an active commitment by the client to work towards prevention of further injuries and provide long term results. By providing hands on treatment as well as the information to educate her clients, Michelle believes long term benefits result.

Michelle is also a clinical teaching assistant with the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine and providing seminars in The Role of Physiotherapy during Pregnancy. She spends her free time with her husband, Trevor, and their son and daughter on their acreage, and stay active participating in numerous sports, gardening, going to football games, and camping.
