Elizabeth has developed her treatment philosophy over the years to include:
"My treatment philosophy stems from my post-graduate courses, as well as my clinical and personal experiences. It is based upon identifying each individual’s needs, concerns and expectations through ongoing active listening and addressing them through education that is aimed to be clearly understood, with questions always encouraged.
I apply a blend of hands on manual therapy, to aid in recovery of joint and soft tissue mobility, and prescribe condition specific exercises, based on current research reviews, aimed at recovering muscle balance and biomechanical alignment, geared toward restoring overall
function.
I value goal setting, as well as postural and task specific cueing strategies, aimed at increasing self-awareness and empowering clients to take an active role in achieving their full long term management potential."
When not at the clinic, Elizabeth enjoys cycling, running, spending time with her family, and most recently, learning about bee keeping!
