Born and raised in Saskatoon, Alex attended the University of Saskatchewan where she graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy (2019), following the completion of her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2017).
Alex has completed Level 1 of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Level System and plans on obtaining further certifications to advance her manual therapy skill set.
Alex’s treatment philosophy combines providing hands on therapy and exercise prescription to help clients meet their therapy goals along with educational tools to support active participation in maintaining health and wellness.
With a passion for sport, Alex is heavily involved in Saskatoon’s athletics community providing medical coverage at sporting events. While in university, Alex spent 3 years as a trainer for Huskie Athletics providing medical coverage for the Women’s Hockey, Men’s Volleyball and Football teams. Currently Alex continues to stay involved as a therapist working with: the Saskatoon Hilltops and Saskatoon Valkyries football teams, Saskatoon Stars AAA female hockey team, and Saskatoon Minor Football.
Out of the clinic Alex enjoys being active outdoors, camping, road trips to the mountains, travelling the world, and playing a variety of sports including soccer, football and ball hockey.
